Morris and Associates Appoints New Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

RALEIGH, NC, July 30, 2005- During a June 13, 2005 Morris and Associates Board of Directors meeting, the board unanimously voted Terry Wright from the position of Vice President of Sales to Executive Vice President. This decision was made in anticipation of former Executive Vice President, Bob Vig's retirement in December of 2005. Soon after, Morris announced its decision to promote the Vice President of Business Development, David Maw, to Chief Operating Officer.

Terry, well-known throughout the poultry industry for his hard-work, integrity and vast industry knowledge, has served an indispensable role as a leader since the company's ownership transition in 2002. His leadership abilities, long-time service to the company, and dedication to his work made him the prime candidate for Executive Vice President.

A 30 year veteran of the poultry industry, Terry has worked in various capacities for Cagle's, Inc. and Dapec and is now enjoying his second term at Morris.

David Maw, having served as VP of Business Development since his hire in January of 2004, brought to Morris an enthusiastic, forward-thinking attitude as well as many ideas for the betterment of the company. David's hard work and eagerness to take Morris into its next era of operation combined with his vast understanding of the total workings of the organization earned him the rapid promotion into C.O.O.

Prior to joining Morris, David, a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Clemson University, was very active in the venture capital industry, where he worked closely with start-up companies providing business development, marketing and financial management services. David also started and successfully exited two healthcare companies. Previous to this, he served in various engineering and marketing roles for Texas Instruments, Schlumberger and Isotechnologies.

Former Exec VP, Bob Vig, will remain involved and responsible for International Sales and will continue to work with and advise the company to ensure a smooth transition.
