RALEIGH, NC, Oct. 30, 2007- Morris & Associates, Inc. announced the promotion of Gary Nolen from Director of Process Optimization to Vice President of Food Safety. Gary will serve as the key advisor for evaluation and recommendation of new product and services for Morris in the area of Food Safety. Gary will also continue his previous duties of auditing and consulting poultry processors on chlorine disinfection and salmonella reduction methods in the chiller and other key areas of the processing line.
Nolen has more than 13 years experience in food safety and 9 years experience developing automated control processes and pH controls for chlorine disinfection in poultry processing. When Gary joined Morris in May 2006 he brought a wealth of knowledge to Morris and its customers. Nolen's enthusiasm and dedication to the expansion of Morris's offerings to the growing food safety industry earned him this prestigious promotion.
